Scioto Valley Women's Rugby Football Club was established in 2001 in Columbus, Ohio. We play competitive, hard-hitting rugby and have competitive, hard-hitting fun afterward. We play in the Midwest Rugby Union in Division II.
We have fall and spring seasons. During our season, we practice every Monday and Wednesday at 6pm and have games every Saturday. Our home pitch is at Rhodes Park in Columbus, OH. We play teams from across the midwest and occasionally the nation. We won our division in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011,and 2012 and were national runners-up in 2007.
We welcome women of all ages and all experience levels. We love to teach people how to play rugby. Maybe you can teach us something new, too. We doubt it, but you are welcome to try.
Scioto is pronounced "sigh-OH-tah." Don't ask us why.
